Alan James Moore, of Holly View, Lurgybrack, Letterkenny, has died suddenly on Tuesday, 2 December 2025, at Letterkenny University Hospital. He was predeceased by his mother, Marion, and his sister, Joan Trearty.
He will be deeply missed by his father, Ernie Moore; his wife, Tina; his son, Paul, and daughter-in-law, Cora; his other son, Leigh, and daughter-in-law, Natalie; and his much-loved grandchildren, Harry, Charlie, Isla, Max, and baby Aria.
The family will receive visitors at Ernie Moore’s home, Swilly View, Lurgybrack (F92W726), from 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm on Wednesday, 3 December. The funeral will depart from there on Thursday, 4 December at 1:15 pm and proceed to Conwal Parish Church, Letterkenny, for the funeral service, followed by burial at Gortlee Graveyard.
In respect to the family’s wishes, there will be no wake on the day of the funeral. Family flowers only; donations in lieu, if desired, may be given to the A&E Department at Letterkenny University Hospital, care of any family member or Terence McClintock Funeral Director.
Note: Family time is requested for today, Tuesday, and on the morning of the funeral.
